2nd grade traveled virtually to Kenya, Africa today to meet Levi and see HIP Arica School! We took a tour around the building inside and out.

Attention all 10th, 11th and 12th grade students interested in pursuing a career in the medical field! Geisinger is hosting their annual AiM HI (Aspirations in Medicine and Healthcare Initiatives) event on Thursday, January 18th from 8:30am - 1:30pm (lunch will be provided) in Lewistown. At this event you will get to meet with medical professionals from Geisinger in multiple areas of health care, and get a chance for some hands-on activities as well. Last year we met with respiratory therapists, Lifeflight/flight nurses, and hospital lab managers to name a few.
I can take a maximum of 10 students, and we have to have the registration and related forms in by Thursday, December 14th. If you are interested, please come see me for a copy of the forms that you and a parent need to fill out. Thank you and have a great day!

Second grade taking flight to travel around the world to learn more about Christmas traditions in different countries! We had a great time at the airport and on the plane.✈️
Friendly reminder that this Friday, Dec. 1st, students will have a half-day with noon dismissal. Good luck to our 11th graders as they participate in junior interviews that afternoon!

On Friday, Renaissance members attended the Jostens Renaissance Student and Educator Collaborative at Solanco High School. After listening to presenter Dr. Michelle CarneyRay-Yoder and Keynote Speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez, members are excited to implement new ideas to inspire students, faculty, and staff!
Students attended Susquehanna University's Creative Writing Day, listening to faculty and creative writing students' readings and participating in prose and poetry workshops.
Students Offering Support (S.O.S) sponsored an after-school activity night for 7th-grade students on November 9. Students engaged in a variety of activities, including open gym, board games, karaoke, and cornhole.
The Renaissance Organization sponsored its second-annual Senior Sunrise on Friday, November 17. The Class of 2024 arrived at 6:15 AM and shared a beautiful morning, complete with donuts, hot chocolate, and warm cider.
