Greenwood School District will operate on a two-hour delay schedule Wednesday, February 14th.
The Greenwood Wildcats Boys Basketball Team will battle the Halifax Wildcats for the 2023-24 Tri Valley League Championship on Wednesday, February 14th at 7:45 pm. The title game will be held at Susquenita HS.

Parents of students in grades kindergarten-5th grade: Our Read-A-Thon fundraiser has just begun! All students should have brought home a packet of information which explains how to create an account and share Read-A-Thon information with friends and family. Please register your child as soon as possible so they can start tracking their minutes. All funds raised will be split between our school fund and Mini-THON. We are so excited to experience this event for the first time, and we hope it is a huge success!
First grade loved celebrating groundhogs day! They started the day off watching the results. Then, they read and sequenced the story of groundhog's day. They researched and collected facts on their iPads. Last, they experimented with shadows! They loved learning about the effects of light.

Miss Pauling's class filled their class reward bucket and were able to have a robot day! They started the day with the code and go mice. The kiddos programmed it to spell their Fundation trick words. For math, they drove the dashbots from an equation to its matching solution. Then, they coded Indi to recreate the story of the three little pigs. Each group created a character from the story and had the bot act out the scenes from the book.

Greenwood junior, Brodie Woodard, auditioned and was selected to sing among 217 vocalists from 65 public and private schools at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Choral Festival on January 27 at Lebanon Valley College.
