Our school garden is quickly coming together! In our progress video, you will find that this project has been all hands on deck. Thank you to all the community members, staff, and students who volunteered to prep the garden area and build our raised beds. We would also like to thank third grade for completing the first layer of the beds, which is composed of sticks, cardboard, and leaves. From there, first grade and fifth grade students helped by adding a layer of organic material and topped it off with our topsoil. Our topsoil is special, as it is mixed with mushroom soil as well. We are excited for the next few weeks of planting!
