Veterans Day 2019
Veterans Day 2019
11/11/2019
November 11th was a special day at GES as we celebrated Veterans Day with some very special people! On that day about 30 veterans and active duty service personnel visited our classrooms to share their experiences and answer student questions. Each classroom had their own visitors and the reports from each grade level were a resounding, “THUMBS UP!'' Following our classroom time, we all gathered in the gym for our annual Veterans Day assembly. A special honor was given to the family of Greenwood Graduate Mr. Ernie Kerstetter, one of Perry County’s most decorated veterans. It truly was a special day!
